Affiliate disclosure

Plain answer: this site earns money when readers book tours through our links. Here's exactly how that works and what it does — and doesn't — affect.

How the links work

Booking buttons on this site (“Check Current Price” and similar) may link to partners such as Viator, GetYourGuide, or tour operators directly. If you click one and complete a booking, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is the same either way — commissions come out of the partner’s margin, not your pocket.

How you can tell

Every outbound booking link is marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code, shows the partner name on the button, and this disclosure is linked from the footer of every page.

What commissions never buy

  • Rankings — best-of positions come from our published criteria, not payout rates.
  • Ratings — editorial scores are produced under our methodology before any monetization consideration.
  • Silence — cons sections exist on every review, including for partners.

Sponsored content

The site currently publishes no sponsored posts or paid listings. If that ever changes, sponsored material will be visibly labeled as such on the page itself — never blended into editorial content.
