Privacy policy
Effective August 2026. The short version: we collect very little, and nothing we don't need.
What we collect
- Newsletter email addresses — only if you submit the signup form, used only to send the newsletter, never sold.
- Analytics data — standard, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) via Google Analytics/Tag Manager when enabled, used to understand what content helps readers.
- Contact emails — if you email us, we keep the correspondence to respond to it.
What we don’t do
- No selling or renting of personal information.
- No account system, no stored payment data — bookings happen on partner sites under their own privacy policies.
Affiliate links
When you click a booking link, the destination partner (e.g. Viator, GetYourGuide, or an operator) may set cookies to attribute a booking to this site. Their processing is governed by their privacy policies.
Cookies & choices
Analytics may use cookies; you can block them in your browser without breaking the site. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe path, and you can request deletion of anything you’ve sent us via the contact page.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
