Independence

BusTourNYC is not owned by, invested in, or controlled by any tour operator or booking platform. Affiliate relationships (see the disclosure) are commercial plumbing, not editorial input: no operator sees content before publication, and none can pay for a ranking, a rating, or a softer sentence.

Facts and sourcing

• Factual claims about operators are grounded in operator-published information, linked in each page’s Sources section.
• Where facts are volatile (prices, schedules, exact stop lists), we describe the stable structure and direct readers to live sources rather than printing numbers that decay.
• We never state a price we haven’t verified; unverified prices render as “check current price,” by design, everywhere on the site.
• We never claim firsthand testing unless the page explicitly says a ride took place.

Ratings

All scores on this site are BusTourNYC editorial ratings produced under the methodology on How We Review. They are never presented as customer scores, and pages label them as editorial wherever they appear.

Dates

Every substantive page carries a published date and a modified date, and reviews additionally show when their details were last verified against operator-published information. If a review has not yet been re-verified, it says so plainly.

AI assistance

Drafting and research may use AI tools; everything published is governed by the sourcing and honesty rules above, and responsibility for every claim rests with the site’s editors.

Corrections

Errors get fixed in place, with the modified date updated. Material corrections are noted in the text. Report errors via contact.
